Sabanci Telekom Selects MIND for New VoIP Network In Turkey

Sabanci Telekom, a wholly owned subsidiary of Sabanci Holding (a Turkish conglomerate with annual revenues of over $12.4 billion USD) and the first private and new generation telecom operator of Turkey, and MIND CTI Ltd. (NASDAQ: MNDO), a leading global provider of real-time mediation, rating, billing and customer care solutions for prepaid and post-paid voice, data and content, today announced that Sabanci Telekom has selected MIND to provide Billing and Customer Care for its new VoIP network.

Sabanci Telekom, a wholly owned subsidiary of Sabanci Holding, is a new generation telecom provider in Turkey which currently provides data and internet services and also plans to offer competitive voice services to both corporate customers and end-users. As part of the deregulation of Turkey’s telecom market, new carriers will be allowed to offer national and international long distance calls services. Sabanci Telekom has selected VoIP technology and is deploying a next-generation network throughout Turkey. The project is planned to last during the entire year with several milestones.

MIND provides Sabanci Telekom with a market-proven, flexible billing and customer care solution that allows Sabanci Telekom to significantly shorten time-to-market and create competitive business models with flexible pricing options for both corporate customers and end users. MIND’s real-time capabilities, interoperable with the VoIP equipment vendor, enable the deployment of prepaid one time and rechargeable cards, post-paid calling cards and limited credit services.
